Welcome To Christ Church, Ramsbottom

Due to the Government’s current advice to suspend social gatherings to reduce the spread of Coronavirus, all churches have been urged to stop meeting.

This means that we will not be holding services until we are informed that it is responsible to do so. However, a church is the people and not the building so although we cannot worship together in the building we continue to remain unified in our worship in our homes. And we stay in contact and support each other by telephone and social media

If you want to stay in touch with us please regularly read our website or

We are a community of Christians who meet together because we want to worship and serve God. As believers in Jesus Christ we seek to be witnesses to him in everything we do. We enjoy spending time with one another, building relationships as members of God’s family as we seek to love and care for every person that we meet.

Our Pastor is Richard Selby who joined us in January 2020.  Richard is a Methodist Lay Pastor and shares his duties with Edenfield Methodist Church

We have also updated our Mission statement for the next few years on the About Us page
