Christ Church is a Baptist and Methodist church in Ramsbottom. We believe we are called to reflect the unity of our ecumenical vision and the truth of the good news of Jesus Christ by seeking to be a
Community of Love, Community of Life & Community of Beauty
- A Community of Love is one that prays – for one another, for the wider world, as things happen and before
things happen, praying prayers of blessing over places of hurt. - A Community of Life is one that is Spirit filled, outward looking, healthy, growing and communicating the
message of Christ. It is one that values one another where all parts are working in harmony. - A Community of Beauty is one that recognises and welcomes difference; one that cares selflessly, putting
others first and trusting in God; one that works hard to see beauty in others and displays the wonder of
God through the way it works together.
Our safeguarding responsibilities
The church recognises its responsibilities in safeguarding all children, young people and adults at risk,
regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability.
As members of this church we commit ourselves to the nurturing, protection and safekeeping of all
associated with the church and will pray for them regularly. In pursuit of this, we commit ourselves to this
policy and to the development of sound procedures to ensure we implement our policy well.
