Study at home - 15th November
Questions to reflect on
following the Service on 15th November 2020
Read the passages from the Bible that we used on Sunday:
- Amos 5: 18 – 24
- Matthew 25: 1 – 13
Then consider these questions:
- The prophet Amos proclaims God as a just and righteous God and criticises the Kingdom of Israel for the lack of justice and righteousness in its society.
Where do you see injustice and inequality
- in our nation?
- in the wider world?
- “Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” What is God calling you to do to work for truth and justice, kindness and compassion, caring especially for the poor and the marginalized?
- What next steps can you take?
- On your own?
- With your church?
- With the wider community?
